As I said in previous post…lots to clean up. Offensive line needs big work…and much to take away from that win.

We didn’t gift them anything. We got down, played poorly over a quarter of play, and unlike past years…the team didn’t quit, got back up, stayed focused, kept grinding and WON that football game.

No gifts. Period. You don’t get gifts in the B1G.
Idk, Raiola had a gift int and the fake punt call was a gift. Other side of the coin is that they gifted us 10+ points with shit special teams

Start thinking like Cockeye, folks.

38 points on 261 yards. 6.86yds/pt. That’s beyond comprehension.

As long as I’ve been keeping track of stats I can’t find anything close to that level of efficiency.

Best I see is:

9.93yds/pt vs. Penn st in 2020
9.84yds/pt vs. Purdue in 2020
8.94yds/pt vs. Purdue in 2023

Pretty sure the little old Asian lady and her husband sitting next to her, weren’t going to buy that…they kept eyeing my screen and giving me the look.

Big ugly American dressed in red, showing too much emotion as he watches his screen.

However, I did get both of them to give me a high five on our last touchdown 😂

Who could have predicted we'd have 261 total yards and score 38? We were +2 in TOs and dominated ST. Barney had 81 yards in PR they had 0. Of course the punt block TD and the muffed KOR. Raiola also doesn't make the big mistake which has killed us in years past.

As much as I am very concerned that the team isn’t very good, I do buy the narrative that we lose today’s game in years past. That could bode well for the rest of the season

I am concerned that we have a lot of weaknesses and aren’t really excellent at anything.

Maybe that will lead to the season being a flop. But I’m going to hold out hope that we actually get better during a season for a change.

The schedule definitely gives us the chance to figure out things and still win. So let’s do that.

I think you can put the Cincinnati game in the category of games we lose 100% in years past.
