2025 Masters Thread

Max Homa sucks. The poor guy got all this hype and he just doesn’t have it ever to compete
Augusta is a terrible course for him. You need to know where to miss to avoid doubles (or worse) and he just doesn’t seem to get it.

On the other hand that’s why you see Rose, Olazabal, and Couples all scoring well so far.

So does that mean everyone that finished behind him can’t compete either? Bryson was 9 shots back so I guess he’s got no shot this year?
Did you even read what I said? I said Augusta is a bad course for him because he lacks judgment. What does that have to do with Bryson or anyone else? Look at Homa’s record in majors:

One 3rd place finish (where he shot 73-73 over the weekend) doesn’t mean he’s a contender. He’s as skilled as anyone and has a great swing but should be winning more.

You said Augusta was a terrible course for him and I merely pointed out that he finished 3rd last year. You then tried to point out the margin of victory as some sort of gotcha (despite the fact that Homa beat or tied everyone but 2 people last year). I merely just employed the logic you were using to other players in the field.

Just hard for me to pull for any of the LIV guys
it's pretty obvious that DeChambeau is the only one of then still working hard. he's hit hundreds more range balls than anyone else this week. the other LIV guys look like they are treating it as a semi-retirement

Rahm looks absolutely miserable. his gold-digging wife talked him into joining LIV and he's regretted it ever since

Nick Dunlap shot a 71 today, 19 shots better than his performance yesterday. He finishes dead last and the only player who Angel Cabrera, recently released from an Argentine prison, finished ahead of.
