Noob here. I never heard of this site until today. I used to post at HuskerMax but haven't for quite a while as they played favorites and I certainly wasn't one. I will likely amuse a few but be hated by many. I am okay with that.

On that note, a little about me. I am old. Not ancient, but certainly old. I was born in 1969, thats 53yo for you slower people. I remember when the Huskers were great, but just not great enough. And then they were not only great but elite, a dynasty. I also remember that day in 2001 when that dynasty died along with the leftover turkey. I feel lucky to have lived through the glory years(obviously I don't remember the early 70s championships but I was alive). And I feel sorry for those unfortunate Husker fans who were born after the 90s. Especially the ones who post on reddit and are entitled, whiny little shitheads.

I have gone through the post-Osborne flame post wars about who was to blame and what was done wrong. I have my opinions. I think Solich is a good coach...in the MAC(even though he never won the conference). He just didn't have what it takes at Nebraska. I think Callahan is a great offensive line coach(and that he should stick to that and stay far away from Lincoln). Bo Pelini was an asshole who knew a little about defense and was then exposed as a coach that didn't know a lot about defense. Bo never wanted to be at Nebraska and only wanted to use it as a springboard. It got you to Youngstown State you piece of shit. Congrats. Riley. Next level horrible hire. Nuff said. Then, the ultimate hire, the chosen one. The can't miss up and comer returning to his alma mater to right all of the wrongs with our beloved football program. What could possibly go wrong? I still can't believe Frost was so awful. A pompous little egomaniac that thought his mere presence would be enough to right this ship. I don't know if any of the rumors that have been tossed around are true but he didn't give 100% to this program, that is for certain.

I am a Husker fan. That includes all of their sports. Fuck Pickle Smoochers basketball. I love Husker volleyball but we are a volleyball school after all.

The above might have caused minor disagreement with some. Lets roll around in the mud and get dirty.

I am politically independent. If you are a hard-core liberal or hard-core conservative, you can fuck right off. You both serve the same masters but they distract you with silly, irrelevant topics like abortion and gender to keep you at each others throats.

I have an outlook that spans the spectrum from right to left depending on the topic. I am sure they will become apparent eventually.

Unfortunately, I am married to a liberal and my best friend is conservative. Fuck me right?

I don't believe in your God. That said, your faith doesn't bother me greatly. Sure, its irrational in my eyes but my lack of belief is just as irrational to you, isn't it? But once you feel the need to insert your religion into my government/laws, that is when we are going to have an issue. I have plenty of Christian friends and generally find most Christians to be great people. As with politics, its the extreme ones that bother me.

If that hasn't turned off enough people, I am also a Dallas Cowboys fan. But isn't that punishment enough? They haven't been good since...well, since about the time the Huskers were good in football. So a long time.

dislikes: your music, dogs that fit in purses, people who call themselves influencers, people who don't drive as well as I do(99.999% of the public), major news networks, superhero movies, people who use speaker to talk on the phone in public, award shows, I mean, I am an introvert and most things people do annoy me so this could go on forever.

I can come across as an asshole at times but in reality, I am just a very sarcastic guy that likes to push buttons. Give me a chance as I will try to give everyone else a chance. Some of us will bond, some of us will spar. But its just a social forum, its not that important.

I live in Colorado and love it here despite the outrageous cost of living. Its how I got my screen name.

I don't really follow him much outside of the 3-4 post game twitter videos I have seen after games with the other two media guys. I don't read the Nebraska papers and don't follow Husker talking heads much any longer. I used to long ago but it just seemed like the local media was a propaganda wing for the athletic department. But I tend to mistrust media in general.
